Successful companies in the biotechnology space have a lot more in common than a passion for science. The promotion of strong business skills has a significant role in an organization's ability to maintain product quality, build customer relations, increase performance through efficient planning, and establish profitable sales and marketing strategies.

I have had the chance to develop these fundamental business skills through two years of experience as a Real Estate Sales Representative and Administrative Assistant for Urban Solutions, a development company based in Costa Rica. There, I boosted sales by 14% by leveraging market knowledge and successful promotional strategies and used well-polished active listening and questioning skills to promote quick resolution of issues.
